DAY 1 :ARRIVAL AT PARO AIRPORT – TRANSFER TO THIMPHU

Meet & Greet on arrival at Paro Airport and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.). Afternoon start for sightseeing in Thimphu includes Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue) with a huge statue of Buddha. On arrival, check-in at a hotel. Please note that the rewriting of words will not affect any sentences containing said words.

DAY 2 :THIMPHU CITY TOUR

Find the most breathtaking views from Gurzang Kangri summit. Gaze out on the nation's highest mountain and valleys. Then, journey onward to enjoy a sumptuous lunch and more wonderful sights at Shyanggang Monastery on your enthusiastic tour that ends with a good night's sleep in Thimphu.

DAY 3: Transfer to Paro

After breakfast, head out to the scenic destination of Paro. It's a popular destination for its ruins and hills. There's plenty of shops lining the streets, so you can browse for souvenirs as you take care of your travel plans. For lunch, choose from delicious Indian dishes or traditional Bhutanese preparations--by far it's one of the best in the country. In the evening, go have dinner on your own time or visit some local hangouts for drinks and company. DAY 4: PARO CITY TOUR

Visit the view from Taktshang Monastery and Kichulanka Monastery. Other enthralling sights include Ta Dzong, where the kingdom of Bhutan was founded, Nya-Mey Zam and Dungtse Lhankhang (old temples). SAFETY AND SECURITY
Many national governments provide a regularly updated advice service on safety issues involved with international travel. We recommend that you check your government's advice for their latest travel information before departure. We strongly recommend the use of a neck wallet or money belt while travelling, for the safe keeping of your passport, air tickets, travellers' cheques, cash and other valuable items. Leave your valuable jewelery at home - you won't need it while travelling. Many of the hotels we use have safety deposit boxes, which is the most secure way of storing your valuables.

HEALTH
Please note: We do not have a constant power source onboard, and cannot facilitate the use of Sleep Apnea/CPAP machines. Bringing a suitable battery pack is required.

TIPPING
It is customary in Asia to tip service providers such as waiters, at approximately 10%, depending on the service. Tipping is expected - though not compulsory - and shows an expression of satisfaction with the people who have assisted you on your tour. SPENDING MONEY
