After breakfast, proceed for a half day morning city tour, viewing some of the city’s most beautiful landmarks. The Magnificent Jumeriah Mosque built in 1979 is a fine example of modern Islamic architecture. The mosque is the most frequently visited and photographed sight. Tourists must wear appropriate clothing – trousers for men, long sleeves and scarf for women. Open to public only on Sundays and Thursdays. Continue to the Jumeirah Public Beach, pass by the Jumeirah Beach Hotel and stop at the Burj Al Arab - the most luxurious and tallest hotel in the world. The hotel soars to a height of 321 meters dominating the Dubai coastline. Pass along the magnificent Sheikh Mohammed’s palace and then take a short break by the creek to get a glimpse of the towering skyscrapers in Deira.
You'll be dropped back to Dubai Mall. You can use this time to have your lunch (as per your own arrangement)
Later in the afternoon head out to visit the Burj Khalifa Building. Get ready to enter the record books and experience a journey through Dubai's exotic Arabian heritage, the extraordinary story behind Burj Khalifa as the new icon for the Middle East, and view the spectacular panorama from the observatory At the Top, Burj Khalifa. Explore the unique, interactive Burj Khalifa multi-media exhibits. Ascend to Levels 124 and 125 via the high-speed elevators, and soak in the 360-degree views from 1,483-feet (452 meters) up. ( Burj Khalifa slots timing remains subject to availability)
Take a closer look at the world below through avant-garde, high powered, telescopes. Step out onto the world's highest public outdoor observation terrace overlooking the ever growing skyline of Sheikh Zayed Road and surrounding panorama. Integrate reality and special effects with At the Top Green Screen Photography. Browse exclusive Souvenirs from the At the Top Retail Boutique.

Desert Safari with BBQ dinner:
Post breakfast at the hotel, the morning is at leisure Later in the day you will be picked up from hotel for the Desert Safari around 03:00 P.M. On this tour experience the thrill of a roller coaster ride on the sand dunes. We stop on the highest sand dune to view the beautiful sunset, a great chance to take amazing photographs - so don't forget your camera! We then continue our journey to the Bedouin Campsite located in the heart of the Desert, where soft drinks, water, tea or coffee are available for you to choose from. Once arrived there are many activities to choose from: enjoy a camel ride among the dunes, have a go at smoking a Shisha or Hubbly Bubbly (also known as narghile or water pipe), or try your hand at henna painting. While you relax in the comfortable pillow strewn tents, a delicious barbecue will be prepared for you, under the starlit sky. To make the evening a truly memorable event, a belly dancer will dance to the rhythm of Arabic music.

GOOD TO KNOW

A COUPLE OF RULES
Illegal drugs will not be tolerated on any trips. Possessing or using drugs not only contravenes the laws of the land but also puts the rest of the group at risk. Smoking marijuana and opium is a part of local culture in some parts of the world but is not acceptable for our travellers. Our philosophy of travel is one of respect towards everyone we encounter and in particular the local people who make the world the special place it is. The exploitation of people in the sex trade is completely contrary to this philosophy.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We advise to take out Travel Insurance to cover for any unforeseen circumstances. Hummingbird recommends World Nomads' travel insurance.

SAFETY AND SECURITY
Many national governments provide a regularly updated advice service on safety issues involved with international travel. We recommend that you check your government's advice for their latest travel information before departure. We strongly recommend the use of a neck wallet or money belt while travelling, for the safe keeping of your passport, air tickets, travellers' cheques, cash and other valuable items. Leave your valuable jewelery at home - you won't need it while travelling. Many of the hotels we use have safety deposit boxes, which is the most secure way of storing your valuables.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure the fun and adventurous element of any water based activities (in countries with varying degrees of operating standards), have a balanced approach to safety.

HEALTH
Please note: We do not have a constant power source onboard, and cannot facilitate the use of Sleep Apnea/CPAP machines. Bringing a suitable battery pack is required.
Please refer to the Physical and Culture Shock ratings for trip specific information.

TIPPING
It is customary in Asia to tip service providers such as waiters, at approximately 10%, depending on the service. Tipping is expected - though not compulsory - and shows an expression of satisfaction with the people who have assisted you on your tour. Although it may not be customary to you, it is of considerable significance to the people who will take care of you during your travels.

SPENDING MONEY
Every traveller is different and therefore spending money requirements will vary. Some travellers may drink more than others while other travellers like to purchase more souvenirs than most. Please consider your own spending habits when it comes to allowing for drinks, shopping and tipping. Please also remember the following specific recommendations when planning your trip.

WHAT TO TAKE
We recommend the use of a duffel bag or backpack. A daypack is also useful. Luggage storage space is limited to under bed drawers, no hard suitcases are permitted.
