Day 1: Arrival at NJP Railway station or Bagdogra Airport

Day 2: Thimpu

A hearty breakfast before your immigration formalities will set you up for the day. The second day of your seven-day itinerary in Bhutan is Thimphu. When you arrive, make sure to check into your hotel so you can relax and explore the capital city. In the evening, visit the famous Tashichho Dzong, or Fortress of the Glorious Religion, which holds a beautiful amount of culture that you may not have seen before. Afterward, return to your hotel for a cozy overnight stay. Thimphu to Phuentsholing is a journey of over one hundred and seventy six kilometers.

Day 3: Punakha

The first day of your seven-day Bhutan itinerary takes you to the capitol city of Thimphu and includes a hearty breakfast. Check out of your hotel, then the second day has an itinerary that will take you to see Elephant Roundabout, where the spiritual leader and author of sacred literature King Jigme Singye Wangchuk was born in 1935. Afterwards, check in at your hotel for one night's stay before returning overland to Bhutan with a final stopover at Paro Airport before flying out the next morning.

Day 4: Punakha and Paro

On the fourth day of your Bhutan tour, explore Chhimi Lhakhang or the Temple of Fertility. This unique Buddhist temple was built by a divine madman, Lama Drukpa Kuenley. You can't visit Bhutan without experiencing the country's celebrated natural beauty. But its valleys and mountains are best viewed beyond the city on a day trip with access to Paro markets and grounds. SAFETY AND SECURITY

We strongly recommend the use of a neck wallet or money belt while travelling, for the safe keeping of your passport, air tickets, travellers' cheques, cash and other valuable items. HEALTH
Please note: We do not have a constant power source onboard, and cannot facilitate the use of Sleep Apnea/CPAP machines. Bringing a suitable battery pack is required.
